Midnight Musing: Woodkid

I discovered Yoann Lemoine earlier today as I perused the interweb. He is an award-winning film director, photographer, and musician. He produces music under the name of Woodkid. He released his first EP just last week entitled Iron.

I am in LOVE with the music video (which he directed) for Iron. The cinematography is amazing and the music is beautiful. The combination of brass and various drums are a perfect accent to the somewhat sorrowful sounding vocals. Incredible.

(I don't know the meaning behind the video although it seems to have religious undertones.)

The Mission

But Also Mostly consists of two best friends who enjoy listening to music, but over the years we have seen the great impact music can have in our lives and those around us. The whole purpose of this simple blog is to share the music we come across and the music we love to bring you quality music for a quality life.

So listen to the music, share your own music, share your thoughts, or go out and find some new music on your own. But don't stop there, let the music have a positive impact on your life and then share that impact with those around you.
